Easily learning English while living in a Non-English country

Even people based in non-English countries realize the worth of Learning English. Tourists who visit countries where English is not spoken have a really hard time. This is why people belonging to such countries must learn how to speak English. Yet another reason why people show interest in learning English is that they want to move to an English speaking country.
However, learning this language can be tough for those living in non-English countries. If you live in an English speaking country and want to learn the language than doing so would be rather easy for you considering that you would have loads of resources there to help you. But people belonging to non-English countries do not have these resources. For this reason, it is important for them to look out for other options.
Provided are a few ways for people to consider if they wish to learn how to speak English:
1. To begin with, you can use the internet for this purpose considering that it is over-flowing with resources such as sound recordings, reading material etc.. These resources would help you understand what is being said to you so that you can carry out a conversation.
2. You can also go to your local video store and purchase English movies. You should not have any trouble whatsoever finding them. Make sure you regularly watch English movies. To understand them better, stop it, rewind and replay it in order to enhance your English language speaking skills.
3. Make a recording of yourself while speaking English. Listen to the recording and see how you sound. Keep trying if you think that you do not speak clearly.
4. Get a few English books from the library. Make sure that you consider their difficulty level. You should also write sentences from the books.
5. Listen to English songs. Figure out the lyrics. Sing along if you want to!. This would help you have a bit of fun while learning English.
6. Surround yourself with material written in the English language. Do not stop at CDs, movies and books. Purchase products whose packaging has English written over them as well as magazines. Major brands that serve several countries usually have English written over their packaging.
7. Practice what you have learnt with a friend. If your friend cannot understand English, make sure that you practice it anyway . Consider teaching your friend a bit of English too. This would also help you remember the words precisely.
8. Write down words that you do not understand and find out their meanings later on. You can learn more words this way.
9. Write in your diary in English. Information written in this diary would include the basics of conversation.
Consider taking up an online ESL course to make things easier. These courses are particularly meant for people with poor English.
