Making Money With Online Webcam Video

Hook up your web cam, express yourself verbally and visually for about one to three minutes,(this may be you talking about something you know very well....anything), hit the upload button on Revver.com.
If you never made money on the internet before, get ready to be surprised when you see your videos almost immediately. If you are a musician or use any of the consumer digital video editing software, you can create something like this: [http://revver.com/video/516529/living-for-friday/]
and be paid every time someone clicks on the ad at the end of the clip.
Revver is one of the few video share sites that offer to pay you money for your videos. What they do is attach an unobtrusive ad to the end of your video. If anyone clicks on the ad, you get 50% of the revenue.
Revver is an easy website to navigate but we did find some of the pages open slowly and some wouldn't open at all.
The website has a FAQs page and a user forum. You can contact customer support by email.
Revver
Appeal: YouTube with monetization--if people watch your video (and the embedded ad), you get paid 20% of what the advertiser pays Revver. If they click on the Revver link at the end, you split the proceeds 50/50.
Interace: Quicktime-based. Requires you to download a client for uploading content. Tagging, emailing, rating, playlisting.
Editing: None.
Sharing: See below.
Verdict: Offers a unique revenue-sharing model that may appeal to content owners and producers. But: Uploading process is convoluted (the promised drag-and-drop functionality was nowhere to be found). After trying to upload my file using the Revver client twice, my video was still listed as "unavailable." I later received an email from Revver stating that my submission may contain unauthorized material that requires clearances--which is true. Because Revver and Google Video are the only sites in this roundup that let you monetize your content, we'll be back with an update comparing the two.
This entire process can be set up in less that 5 minutes. do yourself a favor, hook up your web cam and start talking. Who knows, maybe, you will become the next Johnny Carson of the internet.
