Zachary Levi plays Chuck Bartowski, a young adult who lives in the Echo Park section of Los Angeles, California and gets paid as a computer expert in the Nerd Herd at the Burbank Buy More, which retails large consumer-electronics products together with his best friend Morgan Grimes. At the beginning of the series, Chuck opens an email from a former Stanford University roommate who presently works on the CIA, anyway, it contains the entire database of all of the US government's secret information - a neural supercomputer called the Intersect, which embeds itself into his brain. Just then, both the CIA and NSA are determined to have their intelligence returned to them and they enlist the service of their agents John Casey and Sarah Walker to retrieve the data.
